Man was boiling mad over lobster


A Fitchburg man who didn't like the way water was being boiled for a lobster dinner was arrested on charges that he attacked the cook and threatened to kill her Sunday evening, police said.

Wayne E. Robertson, 55, 4 Laflamme Place, was charged with aggravated assault and battery, two counts assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, and threatening to commit a crime.


Robertson apparently asked a female friend to cook him lobster at a High Rock Road home. While waiting for the water to boil, he told the woman she wasn't doing it correctly, Capt. Linda Swears said.
