“I will perform a tribute to Nat King Cole with songs like L.O.V.E. and Route 66,” Cole said, who has been singing since age 3. The oldest of seven children, she performed with her parents and siblings in Illinois as The Singing Coles.

Her dad, who was a singer and pianist, was Nat King Cole’s first cousin.
“I’ll also give a tribute to Etta James ... and I sing the ‘great American song book,’ so I will sing some Gershwin as well,” Cole said.

The Evans Trio also will perform during jazz night on March 21 at Francis Field during the Seafood Festival, with Americana, folk and bluegrass music featured March 22-23.
What started out as a one-day fish fry in 1981 has grown into a three-day event that features seafood of all kinds, arts and crafts vendors, a kids zone, and a stage filled with live music — all organized by members of the St. Augustine Lions Club. Continue
