PARK CITIES—On May 11 (aka Mother's Day) John Tesar's Spoon will launch weekly Lobster Sundays. $55 plus tax and tip gets you a 1.5-pound lobster with steamer clams and broth, drawn butter, heirloom creamer potatoes, housemade kielbasa, tomato salad and dessert. Additionally, bottles of wine will be half-off.
COPPELL—Local pastry chef Joe Baker (aka @JoetheBaker) will begin hawking his wares at the Coppell Farmers Market every Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon.
This week he'll have spring macaron assortments by the half-dozen or dozen, and four-pack chocolate truffle assortments including the "Macho Mix" with chocolate, beer, bacon, and bourbon flavors. (Scope out his website for the rest of his offerings.)
UPTOWN—The Standard Pour is hosting a spring luau this Sunday at 6 p.m. featuring Sailor Jerry's rum, tiki cocktails and a whole roasted pig.
