Red Lobster placed in review its creative account, which has been
handled since 2010 by Grey New York. Spending was estimated at more than
$150 million.
The company said the review was prompted by the coming
spinoff of Red Lobster from its parent, Darden Restaurants, Orlando,
Fla. Grey New York — part of the Grey division of the Grey Group, owned
by WPP — is not taking part in the review; the agency continues to
create campaigns for the Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse divisions
of Darden.
